1.About These Terms

1.1 The Simple Translator Terms of Service is a legally binding agreement between you and the application provider, applicable to all your actions related to downloading, installing, opening, and using the Simple Translator app. You must also comply with the accompanying Privacy Policy, which has the same legal effect as these Terms.

1.2 By downloading, opening, or using any function of the app, you represent that you have fully read and agreed to all contents of these Terms. If you do not agree to any of the terms, please uninstall the app immediately and cease all use.

1.3 When this app is listed and distributed on the App Store, you must also comply with Apple's official Terms of Service. In case of conflict between the two documents, Apple's official rules shall prevail; otherwise, these Terms shall apply.

2. Our Services

2.1 This App is a language tool integrating translation, dictionary, and word games. Its core functions include:

(1) Text Translation: Input text for multilingual translation;

(2) Voice Translation: Obtain translation results through voice input;

(3) Photo Translation: Take a picture and recognize the text within it for translation;

(4) Dialogue Translation: Supports real-time two-way dialogue translation for face-to-face communication;

(5) Image Recognition: Recognizes text content in images for translation or copying;

(6) Dictionary Lookup: Provides word definitions, example sentences, and other information;

(7) Word Games: Includes a built-in word card game.

2.2 The App relies on in-app advertising to support its free basic functions. The ad display location, number of pop-ups, and presentation format are subject to the actual display within the App.

3. In-App Advertising Related Instructions

3.1 The free basic functions rely on advertising revenue. You will see ads placed by us or our partner advertisers during use. You can adjust advertising permissions in your phone's system settings.

3.2 All product and service information in the advertisements is provided by the advertisers themselves. We only provide a display channel and make no guarantees regarding the authenticity or compliance of the advertisement content. Any transactions or disputes between you and the advertisers shall be handled through negotiation between the two parties; we assume no responsibility.

3.3 Your participation in advertising activities and purchase of advertised products are solely your interactions with the advertisers and are unrelated to us.

4. Content Usage and Data Storage Instructions

4.1 All content you input through the App is processed and stored locally on your phone. Our servers do not automatically back up or retain your usage content.

4.2 Some translation functions may require access to third-party service interfaces. In this case, your content will be sent to the third-party service provider for processing. Please be aware that such transmission is subject to the relevant terms and policies of the third-party service provider, and we assume no responsibility for the data processing behavior of the third-party service provider.

4.3 The collection and protection of your personal information are entirely in accordance with the accompanying Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property Rights Agreement

5.1 All intellectual property rights of the App's code, interface, icons, images, text, software components, etc., belong to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, disassemble, or reverse engineer this App without our written permission.

5.2 All content you input, upload, photograph, or record (including but not limited to text, images, and voice) is the intellectual property of you or the original content rights holder. You must ensure that the content you input, upload, and use will not infringe upon the legitimate rights of others. You shall bear full responsibility for any disputes arising therefrom.

6. Rules for Using the App

The following actions are prohibited while using this App:

Translating, saving, or sharing text, images, or audio containing illegal, pornographic, violent, defamatory, terrorist, or gambling content;

Using the App to translate, search, or disseminate content that infringes upon the copyright, portrait rights, privacy rights, reputation rights, or other legal rights of others;

Cracking or reverse engineering the App, using third-party tools to interfere with the App's normal operation, or maliciously bypassing advertising restrictions;

Conducting paid or commercial profit-making activities using this App without our written permission;

Other actions that violate laws and regulations or disrupt the normal operation of the service.

If we detect any of the above violations, we may directly restrict or permanently suspend your usage rights without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer

7.1 Translation and dictionary results are for reference only. The translation and dictionary definition functions of this App are based on machine translation technology, publicly available dictionary data, or third-party interfaces, and have not been manually reviewed. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, applicability, or comprehensiveness and correctness of the dictionary definitions in the translation. You may not use the translation or dictionary results in legal documents, medical diagnoses, contract terms, or other scenarios with specific accuracy requirements.

7.2 You expressly acknowledge and agree that you shall bear all losses or disputes arising from reliance on the translation results, dictionary definitions, or game results, and we shall not be liable for any such losses or disputes.

7.3 The App provides all functions as is. We will endeavor to ensure stable operation, but do not guarantee that the service will be permanently trouble-free, uninterrupted, or error-free.

7.4 We shall not be liable for any functional abnormalities or temporary unavailability caused by network fluctuations, mobile system incompatibility, device hardware failure, platform maintenance, or abnormal third-party service interfaces.

7.5 The App may contain links to third-party websites. The pages accessed through these links are independently operated by the third parties, and we cannot control the content of these third parties. You shall bear all risks associated with accessing external links.

7.6 You shall bear full legal responsibility for all content you input, upload, and translate. If your content leads to third-party liability, you shall bear all losses arising therefrom.

7.7 To the maximum extent permitted by local law, we will not compensate for any indirect losses, lost revenue, business losses, or other derivative losses incurred by you as a result of your use of the App.

8. Other Instructions

8.1 We will update and revise these Terms of Service in accordance with laws and regulations and business adjustments. Updated versions will be published within the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the new terms; if you do not agree to the updated content, please uninstall the App and stop using it.

8.2 The service agreement between both parties will automatically terminate upon your uninstallation of the App. If you violate any regulations, or if we adjust our business, we may suspend or terminate our services to you at any time.

8.3 After the termination of the service agreement, you must immediately stop using the App. The clauses concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability in these Terms of Service will remain in effect after the termination of the agreement.

8.4 These Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy together constitute your complete agreement on use with us, superseding all verbal agreements. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
